KHS The Salon exists to elevate the industry through next-level education, communication and systems while creating stylists who are wealthy in time, money, health and love.

We at KHS The Salon clearly communicate expectations and boundaries with our employees, who then communicate with our guests. Our greatest asset is the KHS consultation.

Brand Standards

Dress Code and Appearance

Using the knowledge of color analysis, I dress in a way that is flattering and is a representation of my personal brand behind the chair. My hair and makeup are done daily.

Key Verbiage

I use agreeable verbiage and yes/and statements. I never use no/but statements. I use “my pleasure” over “no problem” or “no worries".

Schedule

I am willing to practice the 2, 3, 4 schedule model for a minimum of 90 days.

Career Path

This map represents your growth potential while working for KHS The Salon. Base compensation standards are reviewed annually and will be updated accordingly.

  1.  Apprentice Stylist

  • Six or less months experience as a stylist
  • Seeing 20 or less guests a month
  • 3 referrals a month or less
  • $25,000 -$30,000 annual income potential.
  1. Specialty Service Stylist

(Most appointments are extensive and last 2.5 –4 hours)

  • 6 or more months experience as a stylist
  • Seeing 21-80 guests a month
  • 4 referrals a month or more
  • $30,000 -$80,000 annual income potential.

Standard Service Stylist

(Most appointments are 2 hours or less)

  • 6 or more months experience as a stylist
  • Seeing 21 –100 guests a month
  • 4 referrals a month or more
  • $30,000 -$80,000 annual income
  1. Specialty Service Senior Stylist

(Most appointments are extensive and last 2.5 –4 hours)

  • 18 months or more experience as a stylist
  • Seeing 60 + guests a month
  • 8 referrals a month or more
  • $40,000 -$110,000 annual income potential

Standard Service Senior Stylist

(Most appointments are 2 hours or less)

  • 18 or more months experience as a stylist
  • Seeing 80 + guests a month
  • 8 referrals a month or more
  • $40,00 -$110,000 annual income potential
  1.  Specialty Service Mentor Stylist

(Most appointments are extensive and last 2.5 –4 hours)

  • 48 months or more as a stylist
  • Seeing 60 + guests a month

On-going Education and Benefits

  • KHS The Salon has a 90-day training system

Scheduling Options

  • KHS The Salon uses its signature 2, 3, 4 scheduling system. Stylists are encouraged to work either 2, 3 or 4 days out of the week. The days worked are consecutive. This has been proven to maximize earnings behind the chair while fulfilling time wealth. All stylists are encouraged to try this system for a minimum of 90 days.
