Haircuts
The hairstylists at KHS take an in-depth approach to haircutting. Each haircut is customized to the individual client to distribute weight and create balance. All haircuts include a wash and style.
Women’s haircut can include scissor, razor or clipper cutting.
Men’s haircut includes clipper cuts, fades, scissor cuts or razor cuts.
(11 and under)
Kids haircuts do not include a wash and style.
This is for clients who are in between haircuts but need a bang trim. Please come with hair clean and dry.
This is for clients who are in-between haircuts who need the weight in their cut redistributed, but no length taken off. This option can also include a bang trim. Please come with your hair clean and dry.
Hair color
All hair color services get a complimentary color analysis. A color analysis is categorized by the four seasons. Through our custom consultation, we discover your season and you will get to take home a palette that will aid you in choosing hair color, makeup colors and clothing colors. After we choose your complimentary season, you can choose from the following color services
This service is for clients who color every 2 –8 weeks and want a solid color at the roots, leaving none of the natural hair color. Re-growth can be no longer than 2 inches to book this service.
This service is for clients who want one single color from scalp to ends.
This service is for clients who want a dimensional look with the highlights (and/or lowlights) placed all the way to the scalp.
This service is for clients who book no longer than 8 weeks and are wanting the top and sides highlighted/lowlighted. Clients must have 2 inches of re-growth or less to book a partial highlight.
Balayage gives a dimensional look 2 shades lighter than the clients natural hair color. Foilayage has the same look as balayage, but foils are used which allows more than 2 shades lighter than the clients natural hair color. Balayage/Foilayage are for clients who want a dimensional look but book every 4 + months.
A Platinum Re-touch is for clients who want to be all-over blonde with no natural hair color. The client must have less than 2 inches of re-growth to do a platinum re-touch.
This service is for blonde clients who highlight but do not want the highlights right at the scalp, but rather be rooted at the scalp. Rooted blonde is for clients who book every 2 + months.
A tonal refresh is for blondes who want a change in tone, or for brunettes or red-heads who are in between services and feel their color has faded.
This service is for clients who are in between root-touch appointments. The Express root-touch is applied to the hairline and to one-inch on either side of the part.
This service is for clients who are in between highlight appointments and need less than a partial highlight. Six to eight foils are place around the hairline to brighten the face.

Hair Extensions and Hair Pieces
Extensions are for clients wanting to add length, fullness or both to their look. At KHS, we are trained in a variety of placements allowing us to make the extensions comfortable, hidden and the most natural looking. Hair pieces are for clients who are balding or thinning on top of the head. All first-time extension clients require a consultation.
Hand-tied extensions are sewn on a beaded row. A benefit of hand tied extensions is there are less points of contact on the head, reducing the possibility of hair breakage. A client can have 1–3 rows of extensions. The service is charged per row. The cost of the hair is not included in the service price. Hair needs to be re-ordered every 6 months – 18 months.

Tape-in extensions have multiple contact points using tape. A benefit of tape-in extensions is the versatility that is allowed having multiple contact points. Tape-in extensions are charged per hour (one hour minimum). Installation does not include the cost of the hair. The hair needs to be replaced every 6 months –18 months.

HairWear toppers are for clients who are balding or thinning on the top of their head. The piece is adhered to the head with tape and the client’s natural hair is integrated into the hair piece. This client is required to book every 4 weeks for a re-adjustment of the hair piece. Hairwear toppers are charged per hour (one hour minimum). Installation does not include the cost of the hair. Hair needs to be reordered every 6 months –18 months.

Hair Treatments
There are a wide variety of hair treatments offered at KHS The Salon. Treatments can be added to a service, or can be booked on their own. Please consult with your stylist about which treatment is best for your hair needs. A blowout price is added to all treatments done on their own.
We have a wide variety of moisture treatments. Most moisture treatments can be purchased to maintain at home.
Added to a Service: $20
A re-bond treatment can be added to your hair color or lightening formula, can be done after a hair color or lightening service, or can be done on its own.
Added to a Service: $25
The split-end sealer mends split ends. It contains keratin and can be added to any service or done on its own.
Added to a Service: $25
A microderm exfoliates the scalp to provide a healthy scalp environment. A microderm cannot be done the same day as a color, but can be done during other services or on its own.
Added to a Service: $30
A Keratin treatment can eliminate some curl, reduce frizz, make hair more manageable, decrease styling time, and add softness and shine. You must wait two weeks before or after a keratin treatment to color or lighten the hair.
Additional Services
Includes a wash, blow dry and style of your choice.
Event styling is for special occasions such as weddings and prom. Please come with your hair clean and dry to your event styling appointment. It is recommended that a bride have a trial session.
We use the Kelley Baker method for eyebrow shaping. We use strip wax containing zinc oxide for sensitive skin.
We can darken your eyebrows using color formulated specifically for the eyebrows.
Eyebrow lamination is a brow grooming treatment that makes the brows look thicker and fuller. Eyebrows must be tinted following a lamination service.
We can wax any other area of the face.
